Estamos agora de partida para o 24o CCC – Chaos Communication Congress. O Chaos Computer Club é um lendário grupo de hackers, fundada na Alemanha mas com representações pelo mundo inteiro. Desde que assisti a palestra de Tim Pritlove no FOSS.IN de 2006, decidi que iria ao congresso do grupo. E aqui vamos nós, rumo a Berlim.
A programação me deixa emocionada. Temas desde a simulação do universo em super computadores a sobrevivência depois de uma guerra nuclear, passando por “Hackers de casa desesperados” (infelizmente em alemão, então não poderei acompanhar) e música através dos computadores – “eu posso contar cada uma das estrelas no céu mas não tenho um coração para me apaixonar…”. E agora vamos ver o que é frio de verdade…

We are leaving to the 24o CCC – Chaos Communication Congress. The Chaos Computer Club is a legendary hackers group, funded in Germany but with representatives all over the world. Since I attend to a talk by Tim Pritlove at FOSS:IN 2006, I decided I wanted to go to the Congress. And here we go, destination Berlin.
The schedule is amazing. Talks go from Simulating the Universe on Supercomputers to Desperate House-Hackers and The image of computers in popular music – “I can count every star in the heavens above but I have no heart I can’t fall in love…”. And now, some real freezing temperature!

Heh. I’ll probably pop in on the 29th and/or 30th. If you wanna say tudo bem to a sometimes-reader, I’m the 6′ brunette with the stetson in the company of either or both of the 6′ blonde and/or the 6’7″ silvery-haired guy. Otherwise, enjoy the conference. 😉
